Like the look of one of our decks but want a different design? Want a board that reflects your nickname or recalls a special event? Wish you could have a board that was a little longer and wider? Prefer double ended kicktails and shorter wheel centres?
Combining engineering expertise, drawing ability and extensive experience in skateboarding, SP8BOARDS specialises in creating one-off custom boards. If you cannot find the shape or size you want or if you would like a personalised design, we will be delighted to work with you to make a deck that fits your exact requirements.
Some of our clients have had personal nicknames, logos or favourite images made into designs especially for them. We have also made team decks, decks displaying clients’ own shop logos and decks for special occasions such as weddings and anniversaries. The possibilities are endless (subject to copyright of course) but look at our Gallery for some ideas!
Details of how we make our boards can be found on the About Our Boards page.
If you are interested in a custom deck, please call 07845 908467, email us at email@example.com or message us on facebook briefly setting out your requirements and contact details. A member of our team will be in touch with you to arrange a no-obligation, no-cost telephone consultation with Andy Speight. During your consultation with Andy, you will discuss your requirements and ideas for board shape, size and graphic. Based on this, you will be provided with a price and estimated production time. At that point, if you decide to go ahead, we ask for a £25 deposit.
The next step will be to finalise the detailed design. Once this has been agreed with you, we ask for you to pay the balance. When we are in receipt of funds, work on making your unique custom board will begin.
Pricing for custom boards depends on the extent of the customisation and the complexity involved. Typically, you can expect to pay an additional £25 to £50 on top of our standard deck price.
Recycling, redesign and refurbishment:
Every so often people find a deck and a set-up which is perfect for them. However, after a season or two, it may be looking a bit worse for wear. At SP8BOARDS we can take your old board and put a new design on the base, re-grip and even reshape it for you if required. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your requirements.
